Cynthia has published five Young Adult novels: Our Hollow Sofa, Ants in My Dreadlocks, Stinger in a Sugar Jar, Bad Grass and My French Barrette - with a general fiction novel, Couscous Threads, released in March 2008.

Pennyweight Flat, historical fiction, has just been released.

Driftwood is her first collection of poetry.
